The picturesque village of Milton Abbas is a c. 2.5 hours' drive by car from central London

It's located 3 miles from the A354 between Blandford Forum and Dorchester.

By train

Trains depart twice per hour from London Waterloo to Salisbury and take approximately 1.5 hours. From there, you may rent a car from one of the many rental agencies or take a taxi (c. £80). This will take you an additional 45 minutes.

Other railway stations close by are Dorchester (20 minutes drive), Bournemouth or Yeovil (both c. 45 minutes drive).

By Car - From the East

From Blandford Forum take the A354 signposted Dorchester. In the centre of Winterborne Whitechurch at The Milton Arms turn right signposted Milton Abbas.

After approximately 2 miles turn left signposted Milton Abbey.

The Three Little Pigs is 500 meters down the hill on the left, the third cottage after the pub The Hambro Arms.

By Car - From the West

From Dorchester take the A35. On the dual carriageway, take the exit for the A354 Blandford Forum. Proceed on the the A354 until Milborne St Andrew.

Turn left in the middle of the village signposted Milton Abbas and follow the road to the village. Once in the village, proceed up the street.

The Three Little Pigs, number 39 and distinguished with a yellowish colour, is on the right-hand side of the road, the second thatched cottage after the church.

By Airplane

Southampton Airport (50 miles, 1 hour drive) and Bristol Airport (55 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes’ drive) are closest but obviously do not cater for all incoming flight directions. They do have car rental agents so if you can fly to either airport it’s probably the quickest way.
